HURRICANE BERYL SUBMERGES HOUSTON
Hurricane Beryl hit Southern Texas on Monday, July 8th, and took out the power of nearly 3 million people, leaving crews scrambling to restore power. The storm made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane with gusts exceeding 90 mph, causing widespread damage. Tragically, at least seven people lost their lives in the Houston area. The storm also dumped a significant amount of rain, with some areas receiving over 13 inches, leading to flooding and further complicating recovery efforts.
We hope everyone is safe and extend our heartfelt wishes to all affected by the storm.
